Section Engineer: Design

About the role

The Section Engineer – Design is responsible for creating and overseeing the transportation network across all modes of transport, with a particular focus on flood management considerations. This role involves translating strategic objectives into detailed design plans and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive transportation networks covering road, rail, maritime and other transport modes.
• Integrate flood management strategies into transport infrastructure designs.
• Prepare detailed design plans and associated budget estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals.
• Direct design activities, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes of planning and design projects.
