Procurement Officer

About the role

Coordinate the procurement process, administer building maintenance, and manage fleet‑related activities to ensure company assets are well‑maintained, cost‑efficient, and compliant with relevant policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with the Public Procurement Act, internal policies, procedures and controls.
• Receive and review procurement requisitions from user departments.
• Prepare purchase orders and obtain required approvals.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Verify and approve invoices, delivery notes and other supporting documentation.
• Maintain and update the master supplier database.
• Assist with third‑party risk management, property maintenance administration and fleet management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant procurement or related experience.
• Working knowledge of the Public Procurement Act 15 of 2015.
• Valid Code BE driver’s licence.
