About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Salaried Financial Advisor (OMAO) to provide expert advice on a range of insurance and financial products to an allocated market. You will be accountable for delivering results through proactive customer engagement and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality service to customers while identifying opportunities for new business and retention.
• Process cases, resolve complex queries, and investigate customer problems.
• Analyze issues to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive visitors, handle information requests, and refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Schedule follow‑up actions, record interactions in the CRM system, and create call plans.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations, and gather information to assess customer interest.
• Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for key accounts.
• Monitor sales and market data for a specific geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the organization at sector events, gather market intelligence, and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with commercial or business‑related subjects and at least 3 years of experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services, OR Grade 10 with commercial subjects and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using business intelligence tools for market analysis.
