Salaried Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Salaried Financial Advisor to deliver high‑quality service to customers across a designated market. You will be responsible for driving new business, supporting client retention, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on a range of financial products and process customer cases.
• Handle complex queries, investigate issues, and resolve customer problems efficiently.
• Enter and update information in the CRM system after each client interaction to support retention and business development.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations for decision‑makers, and gather relevant information to assess interest.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for potential accounts, building networks with key influencers.
• Monitor sales and market data for a specific geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Old Mutual at sector events, gather market intelligence, and enhance the company’s visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools to analyse trends.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with commercial or business‑related subjects and at least 3 years experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services, OR Grade 10 with commercial subjects and at least 5 years experience.
