Salaried Financial Advisor (Evergreen)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a dedicated Salaried Financial Advisor to join its Evergreen team in Namibia. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to existing customers while actively identifying new business opportunities and supporting client retention.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality service to customers, process cases, and resolve complex queries.
• Analyze problems to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive visitors, handle information requests, and refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Schedule follow‑up actions, record interactions in the CRM system, and create call plans.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations, and gather information to assess customer interest.
• Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for potential accounts.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, regulatory codes, and obtain supervisor authorisation for exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for a specific geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the organisation at sector events, gather market intelligence, and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with at least 23 points in commercial or business‑related subjects and a minimum of 3 years experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services, OR Grade 10 with commercial subjects and a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Clear criminal and credit check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using business‑intelligence tools for market analysis.
