About the role

Mediclinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, comprehensive, and high‑quality nursing care in line with the professional scope of practice. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive care experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi‑professional team.
• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

• Essential: Degree or Diploma in General Nursing.
• Desired: Post‑graduate certificate/diploma in Midwifery or a relevant speciality.
• Essential experience: None required.
• Desired experience: 1 year of post‑graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.
• Basic life support training (ACLS, ATLS, PALS) for specialised wards.
