About the role

Mediclinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, comprehensive, and high-quality nursing care within its multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on patient safety, accurate documentation, and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Develop a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in General Nursing (essential).
• Midwifery post-graduate certificate or diploma (desired).
• 3–4 years of nursing experience (essential).
• One year of post-graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit (desired).

• Infection prevention and control.

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Developing and modifying nursing care plans.
