Power and Energy Manager

About the role

The Power and Energy Manager will lead the regional Power and Energy line of business, building strong customer relationships and delivering cost‑effective solutions across Namibia. Reporting to the LOB, the role combines commercial leadership with product support oversight to drive revenue growth and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Self‑manage performance and own results.
• Collaborate with LOB leaders to execute regional Power and Energy strategies.
• Lead the Product Support Team, meeting departmental KPIs.
• Promote the full portfolio of products and services.
• Develop and maintain key customer relationships.
• Champion technology adoption and digital solution roll‑outs.
• Achieve business plan targets while ensuring compliance with corporate governance and ethics.
• Drive profitable revenue and market‑share improvement.
• Coach and develop succession within the Power and Energy team.
• Forecast revenue streams for prime, parts, and services.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Finance or Business Management.
• Post‑graduate qualification (MBA) is a plus.
• 5‑10 years of experience in sales/commercial operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a Power and Energy environment.
• Familiarity with shipyard operations, dry docks and power‑generation industry.
• Strong business development, strategic planning and customer‑relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel, ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time‑management skills.
• Valid Code B/BE driver’s licence (manual) and recent Code of Conduct.
