OTR Tyre Fitter (Full‑time, Rosh Pinah, Namibia)

About the role

The OTR Tyre Fitter is responsible for safely fitting, removing and servicing tyres on motor vehicles and earth‑moving equipment at our Rosh Pinah site. You will work directly with customers, ensuring tyres are fitted to manufacturer specifications and that all safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and remove tyres on trucks, heavy equipment and dual‑wheel setups.
• Lift vehicles and machinery safely using appropriate equipment.
• Use correct tools, report any defective tools, and perform torque and pressure checks.
• Inflate tyres, clean and paint rims, and torque wheel nuts to specification.
• Conduct tyre surveys, identify irregular wear and report defects to the Site Supervisor.
• Provide friendly customer service and receive customers professionally.
• Maintain a clean work area, store tools correctly and ensure dressing rooms are presentable.
• Comply with health & safety regulations, complete pre‑task risk assessments and fill out tyre change slips and survey reports.

• Adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
• Ability to complete pre‑task risk assessments and torque documentation.
• Willingness to follow company procedures and communicate effectively with supervisors.
