Operations Manager (OMAO)

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager (OMAO) to lead the development and implementation of processes, systems and infrastructure that ensure high‑quality, timely operations across account services, international securities, transaction processing and loan support/credit approval.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee an operational area, delivering both development and service delivery under senior guidance.
• Contribute to annual and long‑term business planning, forecasting KPIs and preparing business cases.
• Communicate strategy, motivate teams and align actions with the organisation’s mission and values.
• Manage performance of a diverse team, set objectives and take corrective actions as needed.
• Direct day‑to‑day retail service operations and develop work schedules across multiple teams.
• Identify process shortcomings, propose improvements and lead change‑management projects.
• Develop, interpret and apply policies, recommending enhancements to processes and standards.
• Design internal communication plans and contingency plans for risk management.
• Prepare budget plans and support organisational capability building.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing operational functions with guidance from senior leadership.
• Strong ability to develop business plans, forecast performance and manage budgets.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of motivating and managing diverse teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities to drive process improvements.
