Mobile Sales Agent

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a Mobile Sales Agent to serve Gobabis and surrounding areas. You will build strong client relationships, deliver professional service, and drive sales across our financial product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships by understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Promote cross‑selling opportunities across the organisation’s financial products.
• Achieve performance targets and monitor market trends.
• Focus on client retention while identifying new business and sales opportunities.
• Travel extensively within Gobabis and nearby regions as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Commercial or Business subjects (minimum 25 points); NQF Level 5 or equivalent.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• At least three years of experience in lending, insurance, financial services or a related sector.
• Proficiency in local vernacular languages is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and sound numerical/analytical ability.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and within a team.
• Willingness to work extended trading hours and undertake extensive travel.
