Mobile Sales Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Sales Agent to join Old Mutual’s team in Omaruru and surrounding areas. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, delivering excellent service, and driving sales of our financial and insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling opportunities across the organisation’s product range.
• Monitor market trends, analyse data and adapt strategies to meet changing business requirements.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory and work extended trading hours when required.
• Achieve performance targets and contribute to client retention and new business acquisition.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Commercial or Business subjects (minimum 25 points); tertiary qualification is an advantage.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• At least three years of experience in lending, insurance, financial services or a related sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse customers.
• Numerical and analytical ability, computer literacy and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in local vernacular languages (preferred).
• Ability to use sales and customer‑relationship software.
