Business Development Manager – Namibia

Petropipe, an industrial supply and engineering group serving mining, oil & gas, power and process industries across Africa and the Middle East, is establishing a Namibian entity and seeks a Country Business Development Manager to grow its customer base and build local operations. Based in Windhoek (with travel to Walvis Bay, Lüderitz and mine sites), the role involves building relationships with mining companies (uranium, diamonds, gold, copper, zinc) and their contractors, positioning Petropipe with operators, EPCs and service firms in the emerging offshore oil and gas sector, securing registration on vendor lists and tender portals, and regularly visiting customers to understand needs and propose appropriate products and solutions. The manager will work with the bid team on technical and commercial offers, negotiate terms, close orders, maintain the sales pipeline in the CRM and report weekly on activities. Additionally, the role includes day‑to‑day office management, coordination with suppliers, customers and local logistics, acting as the local point of contact for authorities, banks and service providers, supporting business structuring (licences, local content, partnerships) and assisting in recruiting and onboarding staff as the business expands.
