Leisure Groups Sales Consultant – Group Travel

About the role

Terra Nova Tours is seeking an experienced Leisure Groups Sales Consultant to join its Windhoek office. You will design, price, and sell bespoke group travel itineraries across Southern Africa, ensuring seamless experiences for both clients and guides.

Key responsibilities

• Design, cost and sell customised ADHOC leisure group travel packages tailored to client budgets and preferences.
• Manage the full sales cycle – client consultations, itinerary creation, booking, accounting, execution and invoicing.
• Oversee group series programmes from confirmation through on‑ground support, handling multiple programmes simultaneously.
• Address client issues promptly and keep the Team Leader informed of any escalations.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Mentor junior consultants and maintain accurate records of bookings and feedback.
• Represent Terra Nova Tours at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hotel Management or Events Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in group travel sales, with a focus on ADHOC sales and series programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Southern African tourism destinations.
