About the role

The Building Company is seeking a General Assistant to support the smooth operation of its BUCO retail business unit in Swakopmund. The role involves assisting customers, handling vehicle movements, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with their orders and assist with inquiries.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe handling of goods.
• Pack and organise yard stock items.
• Clean and safeguard vehicles, including wash‑bay activities.
• Support suppliers and customers with timely assistance.
• Uphold company values and promote a positive culture.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12.
• Strong product knowledge relevant to the retail unit.
• Ability to work flexibly across different areas of the business.
