Forklift Driver – Retail Operations

About the role

The Building Company is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to support its retail business unit in Ongwediva. You will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving heavy and bulk supplies using a Hyster forklift or sand loader. This is a permanent, onsite position that contributes directly to efficient warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Hyster forklift, sand loader, or similar equipment to load and unload deliveries.
• Interpret and verify invoices against received goods.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily safety checks on the forklift.
• Provide courteous customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Locate, stack, and pack goods according to company standards.
• Uphold and promote company values and workplace culture.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Valid Forklift Driver’s certificate.
• At least 2 years of proven forklift driving experience.
