Driver and Equipment Coordinator

About the role

The Driver and Equipment Coordinator supports the Sponsorship & Events team by ensuring timely delivery, setup and dismantling of equipment for brand activities and sponsorship initiatives. Reporting to the supervisor, the role combines safe vehicle operation with coordination of staff to meet agreed brand activity plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide special function services in line with brand execution standards.
• Coordinate and oversee safe pitching and dismantling of tents and related equipment.
• Allocate tasks to assisting staff and log working hours according to schedules.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Operate vehicles efficiently, maintain them in good condition and adhere to all health and safety policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum 2 years experience in equipment setup, tent pitching and dismantling.
• Valid CE driver’s licence.
• Experience in FMCG sales is an advantage.
