Diesel Mechanic – Walvis Bay

About the role

Wesbank Transport, a division of FP du Toit Transport, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join its team in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The role involves servicing and repairing reach stackers, trucks and other transport equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on reach stackers, trucks and other transport equipment.
• Carry out general duties typical of a Diesel Mechanic.

Required profile

• Namibian citizen.
• Valid CE driver’s licence.
• Grade 12 and qualified diesel mechanic (trade test completed) with at least 5 years’ experience in the transport/automotive industry.
• Extensive knowledge of reach stackers, forklifts, hydraulics and electronics.
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate (not older than 3 months).
• Sober habits.
• Open‑minded and willing to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with supervisory capability.
• Knowledge of applicable Health & Safety laws.
