About the role

The Commissioned Financial Advisor (OMAO) will deliver tailored financial advice to an allocated market segment, driving new business and supporting client retention through proactive service and solution‑focused engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, processing cases and resolving complex queries.
• Analyse client problems and propose technical or professional solutions.
• Manage visitor interactions and direct specialised requests to appropriate colleagues.
• Record follow‑up actions and maintain accurate data in the CRM system to support retention and business development.
• Clarify customer needs, tailor presentations and gather information to assess interest and address concerns.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for prospect accounts, building networks with decision‑makers.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory codes, seeking supervisory approval for any procedural exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for a defined geographic region to identify development opportunities.
• Represent the organisation at sector events, gather market intelligence and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools to identify trends.
