Client Relationship Manager

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to lead corporate consulting for Orion Direct Sub‑Fund clients in Namibia. The role acts as a trusted advisor, delivering strategic consulting, governance support and relationship management to employers, retirement funds and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and grow a portfolio of corporate retirement fund clients by delivering proactive, value‑added consulting solutions.
• Provide strategic advice on retirement fund governance, employee benefits and compliance with the Financial Institutions and Markets Act (FIMA) and the National Pension Fund framework.
• Lead and facilitate Trustee, Management Committee and client governance meetings, strengthening long‑term stakeholder relationships.
• Deliver member education, financial wellness and retirement planning presentations to employers and fund members.
• Identify business development opportunities, support client retention initiatives and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Law, Human Resources, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in retirement funds, employee benefits, financial services or corporate consulting.
• Strong knowledge of the Namibian retirement fund industry, including FIMA and the National Pension Fund framework.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in a Namibian language is an advantage.
• Valid Namibian driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
