Cashier – Retail (Swakopmund)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our retail team in Swakopmund. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale while ensuring accurate handling of transactions and till security.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and answer basic queries.
• Ring up purchases, process various payment methods and issue accurate receipts.
• Balance the till at the start and end of each shift, maintaining security of cash and receipts.
• Promote company values and culture through positive public interactions.

Required profile

• Completed Grade 12 education.
• Fluent in English.
• Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Polite, helpful attitude and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Prior experience as a cashier (2‑3 years preferred) and knowledge of building‑material products is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills for operating the POS system.
