Relationship Consultant

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Relationship Consultant to support its Orion Namibia Retirement Funds and GAP schemes. The role combines client relationship management, sales support and compliance within the insurance and retirement fund sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse primary data to identify market trends and prepare analytical reports.
• Provide specialist advice on policies, resolve client queries and prepare documents for publication.
• Develop and execute relationship management plans for existing customer accounts, gathering feedback and recommending improvements.
• Deliver financial advice aligned with client goals and sell simple insurance products while supporting the sales team.
• Ensure operational compliance with organisational policies and regulatory codes, reporting any non‑compliance.

Required profile

• Namibian citizen with at least Grade 12 (minimum 25 points).
• 2‑3 years experience in the insurance or retirement fund industry.
• Strong organisational, communication and administrative abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, punctual, high work ethics and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
