Business Manager – Technology

About the role

The Business Manager – Technology supports the Business Head in delivering programmes, projects and initiatives that align with the bank’s strategic objectives. The role ensures service standards, governance compliance, cost control and continuous operational improvement across the technology function.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across risk, internal audit, compliance, business units and shared services to embed governance best practices in technology.
• Drive data collection and reporting to produce reliable dashboards for the CIO, providing insight on trends, gaps and emerging risks.
• Partner with the Head of PMO to prioritise technology deliverables and efficiency initiatives, optimising resource use for maximum strategic impact.
• Implement tactical plans and manage CIO‑Office initiatives that operationalise the bank’s overall strategy.
• Monitor controls, governance and service performance for IT activities, escalating gaps to the CIO and tracking remediation to closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Business or Commerce.
• 5‑7 years of experience in business operations and project delivery, preferably within a financial services environment.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels and across diverse disciplines.
• Exposure to technology or digital transformation initiatives.
