Business Development & Key Accounts Manager

About the role

Windhoek Textile Distributors CC is looking for a dynamic Business Development & Key Accounts Manager to expand its presence across hospitality, healthcare, retail, mining and government sectors in Namibia. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities, nurture relationships with key decision‑makers and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Visit lodges, hotels, guesthouses, hospitals, clinics, retailers, mines and government institutions throughout Namibia.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with procurement teams and key decision‑makers.
• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender documents.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Coordinate with operations and procurement to ensure excellent service.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of B2B sales, business development or key‑account management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively across Namibia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
