Branch Manager

About the role

As a Branch Manager you will lead the Ondangwa branch of FNB Namibia, overseeing daily operations, staff development and customer experience. You will be responsible for driving profitability while maintaining risk standards and delivering superior service.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve net profit growth and meet Balanced Scorecard targets for the branch.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and service plan aligned with customer needs and corporate targets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external partners to support the sales strategy.
• Monitor legislative, regulatory and industry changes and ensure appropriate interventions and compliance.
• Track, control and influence sales activities to improve efficiency and meet targets.
• Lead employee development, fostering a service‑focused culture that encourages innovation and exceptional client service.
• Prepare and manage branch documentation and reporting in line with audit requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a branch banking environment, including time at Branch Manager level.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve profit growth and meet performance standards.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and risk management.
• Excellent relationship‑building and leadership capabilities.
