Branch Manager – Banking

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Walvis Bay branch of FNB Namibia, ensuring the delivery of superior customer experiences while driving profitability and growth in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage branch resources, including staff development, to achieve short‑ and long‑term business goals.
• Identify and promote new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
• Control risk within the branch and contribute to the development of tactical and operational strategies.
• Grow profitability through advances, liabilities, assets and non‑interest revenue.
• Retain and expand the active customer base through efficient sales support.
• Oversee all branch processes to continuously improve quality and service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in a junior management role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk and drive business performance.
• Strong commitment to ethical conduct, curiosity, inclusivity and collaborative leadership.
