Architectural Technologist with Project Management Experience

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Architectural Technologist with solid project‑management experience to join our hybrid team in Windhoek. You will work on multi‑country projects, turning design concepts into detailed, buildable solutions while supporting the overall project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and produce architectural and construction drawings, including detailed working drawings.
• Support design development from concept through implementation, collaborating with architects, engineers and consultants.
• Ensure technical accuracy, compliance with relevant standards and Southern African building codes.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, deliverables and maintain up‑to‑date project files.
• Assist with site coordination, liaise with contractors and consultants, and monitor progress, quality and timelines.
• Contribute to design solutions, attend project meetings and facilitate clear communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Architectural Technology and the ability to translate concepts into buildable solutions.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a closely related field.
• Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, documentation control and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with Southern African building codes and construction practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
• Experience with Twinmotion.
• Strong BIM software skills.
• Use of digital collaboration tools for project coordination.
