Wireless Product Manager

About the role

As Wireless Product Manager at Huawei in Windhoek, you will drive market strategy, solution design and lifecycle management for the RAN portfolio in Namibia. You will translate operator requirements into 3GPP‑based proposals, lead complex bids and guide spectrum and network evolution for local telecom operators.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze local operator RAN strategies, spectrum assets and network pressures to create targeted product strategies.
• Translate customer needs into detailed solution requirements, defining features and performance metrics for deployments.
• Lead end‑to‑end technical bidding process – interpret RFPs, configure solutions, align pricing and manage internal governance reviews.
• Manage product lifecycle, identify risks in existing deployments and drive value‑added updates.
• Act as primary interface between regional client requirements, internal R&D and solution delivery teams.
• Produce network planning reports, spectrum evolution frameworks and technical insights for the Namibian market.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic or Communication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in RAN solutions, technical marketing or pre‑sales engineering, with at least 3 years dedicated to the RAN domain.
• In‑depth knowledge of 3GPP LTE/5G NR standards and RAN architecture.
• Proven track record in RFP/tender response and solution pricing for operators.
• Ability to work with cross‑cultural and regional telecom teams.
• Open only to Namibian citizens.
