Warranty Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warranty Specialist to join our team in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The role involves managing warranty claims, supporting after‑sales staff and ensuring compliance with OEM warranty specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Research warranty concerns and customise warranty documentation.
• Review, administer and submit warranty claims for approval.
• Monitor repair order completion and authorise actions according to warranty requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries related to warranty issues.
• Communicate warranty programs and bulletins to all after‑sales personnel.
• Maintain compliance with warranty specifications and OEM audit requirements.
• Enter and manage warranty claim data in the database.
• Oversee the warranty parts store in line with OEM specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of customer and warrantor details.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Background as a Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk or similar technical role.
• Experience with dealer management systems (DMS) such as Automate, Evolve or ADP/Kerridge is an advantage.
• Preferably familiar with Ford warranty processes.
