Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

MMN is looking for a motivated Trainee Financial Advisor to join its sales team in Windhoek. You will work remotely while engaging prospective clients, promoting a range of financial products, and delivering post‑sale support to build lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients, presenting product features that match their financial wellness needs.
• Conduct affordability analyses and advise on tax or legal implications of product choices.
• Capture client information accurately in internal systems and complete all required administrative and reporting tasks.
• Achieve set targets for production, quality and conversion while adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
• Provide ongoing financial advice aligned with the company’s engagement strategy.
• Investigate client queries, provide timely feedback, and escalate issues to relevant departments when necessary.
• Prepare regular reports on service delivery and client interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial advice role (essential).
• 13 years of experience in the financial services industry (desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Certificate of proficiency in Insurance and relevant legislative/regulatory qualifications.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent registration.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services sector and applicable legislation.
