Technology Manager – Group Digital & IT

About the role

The Technology Manager will lead and enable technology across the Group, aligning digital and IT capabilities with business strategy. This role acts as the primary link between business stakeholders and Group IT, overseeing technology operations, ERP, business intelligence and vendor partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into effective technology solutions and drive the Group technology strategy.
• Lead adoption of emerging technologies, automation, AI and digital solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Oversee optimisation, support and implementation of core business systems, including ERP platforms.
• Develop and enhance BI and reporting capabilities, focusing on Power BI dashboards and performance reporting.
• Maintain accountability for IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, system availability and end‑user support.
• Ensure cybersecurity, governance, access control and technology risk management in collaboration with Group‑level IT.
• Manage technology vendors, service providers and system partners to ensure quality and value.
• Lead a team of three direct reports, fostering continuous improvement and reliable service delivery.
• Control the technology budget (CAPEX and OPEX) and prioritize investments for ROI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in technology management, IT business partnering or digital transformation.
• Proven experience with IT infrastructure, hardware, service delivery and business systems support.
• Hands‑on experience implementing or supporting ERP systems and core business applications.
• Strong background in BI reporting and dashboard development, especially Power BI.
• Experience managing vendors, service providers and technology budgets.
• Understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk management and business continuity.
• Experience in a multi‑site, FMCG, supply‑chain or logistics environment is preferred.
