Store Manager – Retail Operations & Sales

About the role

ACDC Express is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role combines commercial acumen with people leadership to maintain brand standards and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including housekeeping, merchandising, stock control and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Oversee financial performance: manage budgets, analyse sales and profitability, and prepare reports.
• Drive sales targets, build customer and supplier relationships, and resolve queries or complaints.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of 5+ staff, handling scheduling, coaching, performance management and training.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Franchise Service Consultant, Marketing team and HR on promotions, staffing and employee matters.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent; qualification in Business or Retail Management preferred.
• At least 3 years of retail supervisory or store management experience.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) and a clean criminal record.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy, including MS Office.
• Experience with POS/till systems.
