Site Operator – Shifts (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Site Operator is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing fuel efficiently while upholding HSSE standards. The role supports engineering staff with daily and quarterly maintenance and manages customer interfaces and relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Safe loading of mine vehicles, equipment and bowsers.
• Tank dipping and accurate transaction and meter recording with reconciliation.
• Sample taking and housekeeping duties.
• Generic preventive maintenance activities.
• Enforcement of HSSE and Life Saving Rules and participation in toolbox talks.
• Manage customer interface and relationships.
• Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor or Depot Manager.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate or Trade Certificate Level 3 (Fitting & Turning, Boiler Making & Welding or similar).
• Computer literate with a valid driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of depot operations, stock control and HSSE.
• Ability to communicate fluently with staff.
• Willingness to work odd hours.
