Senior Teller – Omuthiya (B5)

About the role

The Senior Teller will deliver a unique client experience at the Omuthiya branch, handling teller transactions, responding to enquiries, and identifying cross‑sell opportunities while managing risk. The role supports branch objectives through accurate cash handling and strong customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process withdrawals, deposits, and transfers.
• Book cash movements between Treasury and Central cash.
• Balance ATMs, perform monthly reconciliations and daily cash management.
• Handle client account enquiries, including opening/closing accounts, stop payments, and file changes.
• Issue account statements, credit cards, and encode bank cards.
• Provide sales leads and refer cross‑selling opportunities to relevant departments.
• Maintain daily balancing of working stock and perform any additional tasks assigned by the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in finance, banking or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of banking experience, including teller duties.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and attention to detail.
