Senior Portfolio Administrator

About the role

The Senior Portfolio Administrator will lead the administration of investment portfolios for Momentum Investments in Windhoek. This permanent position involves ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate portfolio data, and supporting the portfolio management team with day‑to‑day operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex portfolio administration functions and daily unit reconciliations.
• Maintain static instrument data in the investment administration system and update asset allocation quarterly.
• Process income reviews, special instruction wrap models, and unit transfer transactions.
• Execute daily trades, upload them to Finswitch, and manage cash transfers and payments.
• Prepare monthly invoices, broker commission statements, valuation reports, and client statements.
• Handle NAMFISA quarterly reporting, tax directives, PAYE payments, and levy submissions.
• Support due‑diligence updates, yearly audits, and respond to client and internal queries.
• Prepare and present portfolio performance materials for client meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12; degree in Accounting, Investment Management, Mathematics or Statistics.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in portfolio administration or investment operations.
• Strong analytical ability and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of investment products, financial markets and risk management principles.
