SAP Supply Chain Functional Consultant

About the role

The SAP Supply Chain Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and testing SAP Materials Management, Sales & Distribution and other third‑party functions within the Purchase‑to‑Pay and Sales‑to‑Distribution business areas, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical problems aligned to operations and service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and test SAP MM, SD and related third‑party module solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across supply‑chain processes.
• Integrate SAP modules with external systems such as vendor portals (SAP Ariba, Coupa).
• Support end‑to‑end implementation using ASAP methodology, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, realization, testing, training and go‑live support.

Required profile

• NQF level 6 or higher qualification in Information Technology.
• SAP S/4 HANA Sourcing & Procurement certification.
• 10+ years experience in Materials Management and Sales & Distribution, with at least 5 years in full‑cycle design and implementation.
• 5+ years experience with vendor‑portal functionality (SAP Ariba or Coupa) and integration into SAP modules.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) and web technologies such as HTML5.
• Strong leadership, analytical and project coordination skills, with high attention to detail.
