Sales Support Consultant

About the role

The Sales Support Consultant will work within Nedbank's Oshakati branch, providing operational assistance to personal bankers and helping manage client portfolios. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while supporting the bank's strategic goal of expanding its client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support to personal bankers, including risk‑management assistance for client portfolios.
• Handle routine administration tasks for a portfolio of clients.
• Keep clients informed about relevant banking changes and product updates.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and prompt bankers to act on them.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and control policies.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification (minimum 25 points) and a diploma or degree in finance, banking, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service or sales within a financial institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, self‑start, and manage workload with confidence.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays as required.
