Retirement Fund Administrator

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a diligent Administrator to manage daily retirement fund operations. You will ensure accurate processing of member transactions, maintain fund data, and support both participating employers and members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver daily retirement fund administration tasks.
• Prepare monthly member and fund reconciliations.
• Process investment applications and ensure timely benefit payments.
• Update and maintain accurate fund records, data, and systems.
• Prepare documentation such as benefit statements, administration reports, annual reviews, and transfer certificates.
• Adhere to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
• Provide administrative support to participating employers and members.
• Implement annual reviews for employers under umbrella schemes.
• Load interest rates into the administration system and administer employer/member information.
• Perform general office administration duties.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 qualification; tertiary qualification in Accounting and Finance is an advantage.
• 1‑2 years of experience in retirement fund administration is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet business targets consistently.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for customer service and relationship building.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
