Relationship Manager, Private Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager, Private Banking will grow, retain and optimise a portfolio of private banking clients by proactively driving sales, acquiring new business, deepening relationships and identifying opportunities. The role delivers tailored financial solutions that enhance client outcomes, increase portfolio profitability and create sustainable value for both client and bank.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively promote a relationship‑based offering as the primary point of contact, providing personalised financial solutions aligned with the client value proposition.
• Advise customers on lending product selection, offering solutions suited to their specific needs.
• Analyse customers’ financial behaviour, current product holdings and short‑ to long‑term needs to identify mutually beneficial sales opportunities.
• Conduct ongoing client reviews and ensure effective service delivery to meet portfolio financial objectives.
• Adhere to sound account management principles for optimal credit portfolio management execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Sales.
• 5–7 years of experience in sales, service, relationship management, credit applications and financial services with a proven sales track record.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to assess credit risk.
• Behavioural competencies: developing strategies, meeting timescales, seizing opportunities, establishing rapport, articulating information.
