Relationship Analyst

About the role

The Relationship Analyst will analyse credit data to assess risk, support client relationship management and prepare credit proposals that enable informed lending decisions and strengthen portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client financial and non‑financial information to assess credit risk.
• Prepare structured credit proposals and supporting documentation for review.
• Assess client affordability, cash flow and financial position to determine risk exposure.
• Maintain accurate and compliant client credit files and documentation.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities across relevant banking products.
• Provide analytical insights to relationship managers to strengthen client engagement.
• Monitor client accounts, utilisation trends and risk indicators; escalate concerns.
• Compile portfolio reports and updates for management decision‑making.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Risk, Credit, Operations) to ensure alignment.
• Ensure credit assessments comply with policies, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to queries on client applications, credit assessments and portfolio performance.
• Support continuous improvement of processes, tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in credit analysis, banking operations or relationship support.
• Proven ability to assess credit risk and support lending decisions.
• Experience preparing credit proposals and maintaining compliant documentation.
• Knowledge of cross‑sell opportunities and product knowledge within banking.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to provide insights to relationship managers.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and adhere to governance standards.
