Recruitment & Training Coordinator

About the role

The Recruitment & Training Coordinator is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle and ensuring all employees receive the training required to stay competent, compliant, and skilled. This permanent position works closely with departmental managers and external providers to support the organisation's talent and development needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end‑to‑end recruitment process: draft adverts, screen applications, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and prepare offers and onboarding documentation.
• Maintain a talent pool, recruitment records and metrics, and produce monthly recruitment reports.
• Manage internal and external training programmes, update the training matrix, monitor certifications and licence expiries, and schedule mandatory and refresher sessions.
• Liaise with training providers, keep training records, evaluate effectiveness, and support apprenticeships and internships.
• Ensure compliance with Namibian legislation, client requirements and company standards; maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Track recruitment KPIs, training completion rates, and manage the training budget where delegated.
• Assist with time‑and‑attendance processing and other HR administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in recruitment and/or training coordination; experience in engineering or manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Competence with Microsoft Office suite
