About the role

The Procurement Specialist – Local Category will join the Namibia team of Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa, reporting to the Country Lead Procurement. The role focuses on managing sourcing, contracting and supplier performance for all local indirect and operational spend categories, driving cost competitiveness and supply continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting activities for local indirect and operational spend.
• Manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and risk mitigation standards.
• Monitor spend categories to identify cost‑saving opportunities and value‑creation initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting in line with CCBA policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement of local indirect and operational spend categories.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance management.
• Ability to ensure compliance, mitigate risk and drive value for the business.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
