Part-time Techxpert Technician

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Techxpert to support our technical operations and help boost productivity across our stores. The role involves maintaining and improving IT hardware, software and networking systems to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain IT hardware components.
• Perform software installations and updates on store devices.
• Assist with basic networking tasks and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support store staff with technical queries and provide on‑site solutions.
• Contribute to process improvements that increase system efficiency.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• COMPTIA A Certification (Essentials and Core).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage stress and resolve conflicts.
• Target‑driven, self‑managed and detail‑oriented.
• Commitment to integrity, customer centricity and personal development.

Required skills

• IT hardware repair knowledge.
• Software installation experience.
• Basic networking systems knowledge (advantageous).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
