Multi‑Skilled Consultant – Katima Mulilo

About the role

The Multi‑Skilled Consultant will deliver a unique client experience at the Katima Mulilo branch by handling teller transactions, responding to enquiries, and supporting the branch’s sales objectives while maintaining strict risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Process withdrawals, deposits, transfers and inter‑bank transactions.
• Manage cash flow, including daily cash checks, balancing cash accounts and securing branch stock such as cards.
• Prepare and verify transactional documents for inter‑bank transfers.
• Provide world‑class customer service by greeting clients, listening to their needs and offering appropriate product suggestions.
• Generate sales leads and refer cross‑sell opportunities to relevant departments.
• Handle client account enquiries, including opening/closing accounts, stop payments, and updating account records.
• Issue account statements, credit cards and bank cards, and encode card information.
• Maintain daily balancing of working stock and ensure compliance with governance, risk and control policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in business, banking or a related field.
• At least six months of customer‑facing experience in a retail environment (advantageous).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a customer‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and adhere to the organization’s code of conduct.

• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
