Line Haul Driver (10 positions) – Central Africa

About the role

We are seeking ten Line Haul Drivers to operate cross‑border freight routes across Central Africa. The position is based in Windhoek and reports to the Central Africa Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe handling, loading and off‑loading of consignments, reporting any damages before departure.
• Transport freight securely and adhere to road and security regulations.
• Off‑load consignments in designated areas, obtain proof of delivery and required documents.
• Follow company procedures for refuelling, fuel cards, petty cash and other policies.
• Complete trip sheets and MDC registers accurately and submit them promptly.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report defects immediately.
• Maintain a clean and neat truck and cab at all times.
• Handle fragile, refrigerated or high‑value consignments correctly.

Required profile

• Valid Grade 10/12 (minimum 23 points) and age over 25.
• At least 5 years’ experience driving cross‑border routes in Zambia.
• Knowledge of Zambia routes; mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid Code CE driver’s licence with a current PDP and passport.
• Police clearance certificate issued within the last three months.
• Namibian citizenship.
• Customer‑focused attitude, presentable appearance and good communication skills.
• Sober habits and ability to deliver freight on time without damage.
