Life Coach / Counsellor (Oshiwambo Speaking)

About the role

OneWayOut is seeking a compassionate Life Coach / Counsellor who can deliver one‑on‑one financial coaching in Oshiwambo. You will help clients understand their debt situation, set realistic goals, and create personalised plans to achieve lasting financial stability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual coaching or counselling sessions primarily in Oshiwambo.
• Educate clients on personal finance concepts and debt‑management strategies.
• Track client progress, maintain accurate confidential records, and report outcomes.
• Collaborate with the internal team to improve tools, processes, and client resources.
• Support clients in building sustainable money habits and long‑term financial security.

Required profile

• Strong background in life coaching, counselling, or a related helping profession.
• Experience in financial education, debt relief, or community‑based financial support.
• Fluency in Oshiwambo and good command of English; additional local languages are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Namibia, manage a caseload, and keep confidential records.
• Relevant qualification in finance, counselling, psychology, social work, business or a related field is preferred.
