About the role
The Namibia Tourism Board is seeking four Licensing Officers to support its mandate of regulating the tourism industry across several duty stations. The role involves processing payments, handling registrations, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping for businesses operating in the tourism sector.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, verify and record cash, cheque, debit and credit card payments, and perform end‑of‑day banking and reconciliations.
- Process levy returns, new registrations, and issue certificates and discs to applicants.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all business documents and update customer information as needed.
- Handle bank deposit preparation, seal bag management and ensure secure cash handling procedures.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar or related role.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations.
