Key Accounts Manager – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Key Accounts Manager will drive sales growth for food, liquor and allied food‑service products across the assigned territory. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture existing relationships and ensure the company meets its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote, merchandise and sell Deep Catch Group’s product portfolio to retailers and food‑service operators.
• Travel nationally to service existing customers and acquire new accounts.
• Maintain retail master data, pricing controls and weekly store assessments.
• Analyse daily reports on stock, expiry, sales revenue and claims to optimise inventory.
• Identify improvement opportunities and communicate them to internal teams.
• Collaborate with operational buying to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Achieve sales targets, increase product volumes and expand the customer base.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education; sales or marketing qualification is a plus.
• At least 3 years of proven sales experience in the retail or food‑service sector.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
