About the role
The Enongo Dependants Trust (EDT) seeks an Independent Trustee to provide governance oversight for a trust managing assets for over 1,900 beneficiaries, primarily minors.
Required profile
- Must currently hold or have previously held the office of Trustee or Principal Officer of a registered retirement fund in Namibia.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the retirement fund or trust industry.
- Accountant, legal practitioner or retirement/trust consultant with at least 5 years’ experience in preparation of accounting records and retirement fund consulting.
- Highest ethical standards and uncompromising integrity.
- Strong governance understanding.
- Administrative rigour and attention to detail.
- Independent judgement.
- Capacity and commitment to attend meetings and fulfil statutory and fiduciary duties.

- Preparation of accounting records including annual financial statements.
- Retirement fund consulting.
