General Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive General Assistant to join our retail team. You will play a key part in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by keeping the store tidy, stocked, and welcoming for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with OHASA regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Receive, unpack, and organize stock deliveries; keep shelves fully stocked and products attractively displayed.
• Collaborate with team members, build positive workplace relationships, and take initiative in personal and professional growth.

Required profile

• Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a general worker or similar role.
• Basic understanding of OHASA legislation and retail customer‑service practices.
• Resilient, reliable, and aligned with company values.
